DOLPHINS PLAY SCHOOL – The Journey to Happiness.
THE STORY

Dolphins Play School stimulated my desire to paint. I had been viewing dolphins photographed by a friend in the 1990’s. Fascinated by the wonder, of such playfulness and silky smooth water reflections on Dolphin skin, I wondered, “Could I transition from an Airbrush artist to an oil painter creating photorealism”. I added the ball as a statement of play we can relate to with added bursts of color. Just like the “Lily From The Valley” paintings, I was challenged to see how true to photo like, I could work the oils. I wanted to show in detail the visual beauty.

To see the human and animal kingdoms you find a common reason for the want to play and be happy. Especially especially with the young. The windows are symbols of dreaming into a world of desired lightheartedness or a sense of peace and well-being – the trouble-free zone we all want. A reflection of mankind’s want. No matter what culture, religious, philosophical or political persuasion we all live in a world which is absent of peace. The playfulness God has promised is available to all when we acknowledge the window of our blindness and ask for the windows of heaven to open.

The reproduction of this painting would be appreciated worldwide in London, New York, Paris or Sydney (wherever good taste is appreciated). Not only a beautiful work of art but the allegory written within its intention is a heartfelt inspiration to meditate upon. The Dolphins play school oil painting is a guideline toward gratitude and peace in your heart. God has given us a wonderful world to live and play in.

The proud owners are Eddie and Christine Belchambers of Wanganui, New Zealand.
