An emotional joy to ride

THE STORY

The moonrise filled me with wonder — soft, warm, and full of quiet beauty. In that moment, I felt blessed to share it only with the God who made it all.

That evening at Matakana, overlooking Kawau Bay, everything came together — the light, the colors, the calm air. I was simply in the right place at the right time.

The Tui danced through the sky, diving and calling with joy. Watching them play on the hillside at The Donkey Farm filled me with deep gratitude.

This place — the Matakana Coast and Kawau Bay — is a treasure of North Auckland, a reminder of how good life can be.

I’m thankful for the gift of seeing and sharing moments like this.
Every photo I take feels like a small offering of praise — a way to share the beauty God has given us.
It reminds me that He gives freely and completely, just as He revealed His love through His Son.
