No matter what you believe, all things you see with your eyes have a story to tell.
In daily affairs, under the sun, the Kingfisher tells a story of you and me. A Kingfisher does what it is wired to do when it wakes up. It preens itself, looks for food, procreates, uses energy fulfilling its purpose and exercises its unique skills. After burning so much energy it comes home to rest, preens itself after accomplishments and then back to sleep.
Without a dream you waste away.
Think about it, we do the same. Motivated by a desire to feed we go searching for our prized vision. We are, motivated for income, food, sustenance, a conquest to pleasure and with daily energy spent we journey home to the nest. Our pleasures fulfilled, all in a days work we are needing a rest.
You don’t get to play the game of life unless you participate wisely.
We all dream because we were created in the image and likeness of the unseen, with our natural eyes, manufacturer. All that we see has purpose and if we don’t understand what and why it was created we will abuse it. In our ignorance (lack of wisdom) we reap the consequences. Creatures like the Kingfisher have been eaten out of existence in some parts of the world. Animals wisely fear us in our current state of being, because, unchecked we greedily mismanage our resources. Wisdom and purpose is written, like the DNA in all of creation. Look into the sciences, the arts, relationships, leadership hierarchies and the animal kingdoms to discover this truth. It has always been available to be discovered by anyone who seeks the source of all living. When discovered and ruled by love for its founder (true spirituality) a different outcome for our world is enjoyed.
A treasured moment in creations story.
What do you think of my new friend seen resting in the tree next to my studio? He is one of about 7 in a family on this part of the Mahurangi River, Warkworth. We engaged for about 10 minutes of fascination and I was so deeply pleasured by his trust. As I photographed, I dreamed dreams of how to present him in this piece of art. The beauty in this Kingfisher reflects more than words can convey of the beauty and joy of living I have discovered. He looked so healthy. Nice one, huh!!!
